1. Our SaaS service
Tech On Global provides businesses with tools to create, manage and operate an online presence — including business websites, online stores, product catalogues, order and customer management, payment integration, branding, reporting, notifications, hosting and subdomain-based store addresses.
The features available to a customer depend on the customer’s selected plan.
2. Subdomain model
Tech On Global provides customers with a platform-generated subdomain, for example customer.techonglobal.com, or another official SaaS address selected by Tech On Global.
The subdomain is provided as part of the SaaS service and remains subject to the customer’s active subscription. Customers do not obtain ownership of the Tech On Global domain or subdomain infrastructure. Tech On Global may change the technical structure, domain, URL format or subdomain system where reasonably necessary.
3. Custom domains
Customers who require an independently registered domain may request a separate website development service. A custom-domain website may be treated as a separate service and may involve domain registration, development, hosting, DNS and SSL configuration, maintenance and additional development fees, under separate terms and pricing.
4. Account registration
Customers must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for maintaining accurate account details, protecting their login credentials, keeping passwords confidential, restricting unauthorised access, and immediately reporting suspected unauthorised access. Customers must not create an account using false information or another person’s identity.
5. Customer responsibility & content
The customer is responsible for all information, products, images, descriptions, prices, policies and content uploaded to their store, and must ensure their store complies with applicable laws. Tech On Global does not guarantee that a customer’s products or business activities are legally compliant.
Customers retain rights to content they own and upload. By uploading content, customers grant Tech On Global the limited permission necessary to host, process, display, transmit, back up and otherwise use that content to provide the SaaS service.
6. Product responsibility
Customers are solely responsible for the products and services they sell. Tech On Global does not become the seller, manufacturer, importer, distributor or owner of customer products merely because those products are displayed on the Platform. Customers are responsible for product legality, safety, pricing, descriptions, taxes, delivery, returns, refunds, consumer complaints, warranties and regulatory requirements.
7. Plans & platform fees
Customers agree to pay the fees associated with their selected SaaS plan. Current plans are:
- Business Website — R500 once-off setup.
- Online Store — R700 once-off setup, with full e-commerce features.
Both plans include Tech On Global hosting billed at R60 per month per website. The exact features included in each plan are displayed on our pricing page. Tech On Global may introduce additional paid services in the future.
8. Payments & disputes
The Platform integrates with third-party payment providers such as Paystack. Payment processing is performed by the relevant payment provider. Tech On Global does not directly store customers’ full card numbers unless expressly stated otherwise. Paystack states that it maintains PCI DSS Level 1 certification and publishes security information relating to its payment infrastructure.
Payment disputes, chargebacks, fraudulent transactions and reversals may be subject to the rules of the applicable payment provider. Tech On Global may provide reasonable technical assistance but is not responsible for payment-provider decisions.
9. Suspension & termination
Tech On Global may suspend an account where payment obligations are not met, these Terms are violated, fraud or illegal activity is suspected, Platform security is threatened, resources are abused, another customer’s account is interfered with, or required verification is not provided. Where reasonably possible, Tech On Global may notify the customer before suspension.
Tech On Global may terminate an account where serious or repeated violations occur. Customers may also terminate their account. Upon termination, access to the SaaS store may be disabled. Customers should maintain their own copies of important business information.
10. Intellectual property
The Tech On Global Platform — including its software, branding, interface, logos, designs, source code, systems and technology — remains the property of Tech On Global (Pty) Ltd or its respective licensors. Customers receive a limited right to use the Platform during their permitted period of access and do not receive ownership of the underlying Platform software.
11. Availability, backups & third-party outages
Tech On Global aims to keep the Platform available and reliable, but uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed. The Platform may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, upgrades, Internet or DNS failures, payment-provider outages or force majeure events.
Tech On Global may maintain backups where technically feasible to assist with recovery and continuity, but does not guarantee that every deleted or corrupted file can always be recovered. Customers should keep independent copies of critical business information.
Tech On Global is not responsible for outages caused exclusively by third-party providers, including payment processors, DNS providers, cloud infrastructure, authentication providers, email providers, ISPs, domain registrars and external APIs.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Tech On Global will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or loss-of-profit damages arising from use of the Platform. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
13. Customer business responsibility
Tech On Global provides technology infrastructure; the customer remains responsible for operating their business, including business registration, tax obligations, product compliance, consumer and advertising law, data protection, delivery, refunds, warranties, licences and industry-specific regulations.
14. Changes to the Platform & these policies
Tech On Global may introduce, modify or discontinue features. Where reasonably practical, material changes affecting customers will be communicated. Tech On Global may update these Terms and policies from time to time, and the latest version will be published through the Platform or official website. Continued use after the effective date of updated Terms may constitute acceptance where legally permitted.
15. Governing law
These Terms are intended to be governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, subject to any mandatory rights or protections that apply to the customer.
16. General
These Terms, together with applicable order forms, pricing, privacy policies and additional service agreements, constitute the agreement between Tech On Global (Pty) Ltd and the customer regarding the Platform. If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a permanent waiver. By registering for or using the Platform, the customer confirms that they have read, understood and agreed to these policies and Terms.
